Testimony - A Life of Miracles

With God, All Things are Possible

Hudson & His Family

My name is Hudson Itembe Suubi.  I am the Senior Pastor of God’s House of Miracles (Lugazi Miracle Centre), and founder of God’s House of Miracles Ministries, Uganda. We are affiliated with Lubaga Miracle Center Cathedral, Kampala with Pastor Robert Kayanja. As of  November 2007, we have twenty other branch churches. Our main church is here in Lugazi Town, Central Region, about 40 kms from Kampala, the capital, along Kampala – Jinja Highway. I am also the Buikwe District Chairman of the National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches of Uganda.  God has blessed my wife, Mercy, and I with three biogical children, Godwin Gospel, who is six years old, and Emmanuel and Gift, twins who are three years old, and we are expecting another child this December.  We are parents of 50 children here in Lugazi, each of these 50 kids has been matched with a parent, These were orphans, but now no longer orphans because Jesus said, “I shall no longer call you orphans but children." We have another 150 orphaned kids still here in Lugazi, whom we are trying to help as much as we can. We hope to place these children into Childrens Foster Village.

I was born May 2, 1972, from a polygamous family where my father had four women, several concubines, and about thirty children.  I am the third born. My father was a Catholic, my mother was an Anglican, and my paternal grandmother was a witch doctor and traditional healer. She was a spirits and a leader of a sub county for witchcraft. She worked closely with the national Spirit’s or traditional healer called Bujagali, who claimed to own all the legion water spirits over Lake Victoria and the Nile River.  Bujagali had several shrines on the Nile River and Lake Victoria, but now they are gone because of the power of prayer of the Christians in Uganda. My grandmother had over fifteen large shrines, but unfortunately, she died in 1988, never knowing the Lord.
My grandmother and Bujagali used to put a back cloth on water on which they could seat a person without sinking. The back cloth is a piece of cloth made from back tree bark. Long ago, people used it for covering themselves before they had bedsheets.  Sometimes,   whenever the evil spirits would empover her, she could hold hot coals of fire in her hands   or sit on them without being burned.  When I was age five to fifteen, I used to travel to our late grandmother’s almost every school holiday. When I was with her, she involved me in everything she did, including traditional healing.  My heart was apprehensive to participate, though I joined her in fear and under intimidation. The grandmother would also give me charms and witches to protect me when I resumed school, telling me it was for security and protection from potential jealous students who might try to bewitch me.  All this happened by while I was in my Primary Education, the lower grades of school.

HOW I ACCEPTED THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR:

When I was sixteen years old, I had just joined secondary school in senior one class. The very first week of July, a fellow student witnessed to two of my male senior one classmates and me at Wairaka College School, in Jinja District in Uganda.  My friends accepted the Lord that very day, but I did not because there was still too much I wanted to know.  Actually, I asked him many questions about why I needed to give my life to Christ when I had my father’s religion and my late grandmother was a witch doctor.  I told him I did not need another religion.

One week later, on July 15, 1988, a team of missionaries came to visit our school for a weekend Gospel Challenge, with a drummer, lots of praise and worship, and preaching.

Youth with a Mission had their base just 1 km across the street, from my school.  Among  their presentations was a play with a drummer who talked about heaven and hell, the Devil and Jesus Christ, and the destination of those who follow Christ versus those who follow the Devil.  I watched how those who followed the Devil ended up in Hell where there was great suffering, while those who followed Jesus ended up in Heaven, where there was great rejoicing and no suffering.  The people in heaven were joyful and the people in hell were in great crying with no appeal.  As I watched the drummer, my heart became troubled and the fear of death came inside of me. I immediately feared going to hell, and I desired to be with Jesus the rest of my life.  After they completed the play, they made an altar call, and invited those who wanted to accept Jesus as their Lord and personal saviour. Immediately, I moved to the front and by the time that I reached the platform, tears were running out of my eyes, and I repeated the sinner’s prayer, taking Jesus Christ as my lord and personal saviour.

That very day, I felt a new life in me, and my life changed.  I received a living hope inside me. I knew my life was in good relationship with God, and God forgave all my sins through Jesus Christ, His son.  He removed lot of weight from my head and life; I felt so free and light in my spirit, with so much joy in my heart.  I realized Jesus came from heaven, only He overcame temptation, and only He overcame sin and death.  Jesus, alone, had the power to resurrect from the dead, He rose again, and only He has the power to take people to heaven and to change people’s lives.  I also learned Jesus Christ is a miracle worker, and only He has the power to do miracles in people’s lives. Salvation was the first miracle I had received.  Finally, Jesus is a respecter of people, and He is a friend of everybody, the sinner and the righteous, the poor and the rich. Jesus is a friend to all classes of people. After learning all this, I felt secure I had not taken a risk or loss to take Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour.

THE NEGATIVE REACTIONS FROM MY PARENTS UPON ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR.

In 1992, my dad, grandmother, and the elders of my clan gathered to have a meeting to discuss my salvation.  Everyone was questioning me why I left my father’s religion and the demons my grandmother and family were worshiping. They gave me two options: to say no to Jesus, continue living with my family, and continue my education or leave my family and not continue my education if I continued with Jesus and Salvation. After keeping silent, I told them, I could not leave Jesus Christ and salavation. Deep inside me, I knew it was sin to declare publicly I do not belong to Jesus, so I did not.

In this meeting, Dad told me he was a Catholic, though his parents were worshiping demons and spirits, so he could not give birth to me, who had now become a born again Christian, as a dog cannot give birth to any other animal than a puppy.  He could only give birth to a fellow Catholic; therefore, I was no longer his son. At this very moment, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me in Psalms 27:10, which says that even if our mothers and fathers abandon us, God will take good care of us. As I read this scripture, I got so encouraged, and excited in my spirit.  I knew God knew what I was going through, and was concerned and able to care for me.  I was convinced God was with me and willing to care for me, even if all my parents had forsaken me.  Everyone in the meeting saw me get excited and wondered what had happened, as everyone was expecting me to be sad.  They grew angry because of my joy.

When they saw I was unwilling to change my mind that day, they told me they were giving some time to make a decision. My dad gave me a few days to continue living at home, as I was thinking of making a decision to say no to salvation and continue with my family.  Instead, I just continued in the confession I had made, of Jesus Christ being my Lord and personal Saviour. I also continued to obey and submit to my parents and relatives.  I continued to trust and totally depend on God, and in everything, the Lord was faithful.  In the very meeting in which my father and grandmother were angered, my grandmother declared she was going to send her spirits to kill me because I had become a big problem. I assured her I was not going to die because Jesus’ blood protected me, and I was a friend of God.  I told her I would live, because Jesus was living and not dead. After this meeting, the Lord led me in prayer and fasting, for three days and nights almost every week for a several weeks.

Shortly after the tough meeting, the Lord started giving me dreams while I was fighting my grandmother and her powers.  The Lord gave me victories in the dreams, and eventually I heard my grandmother confess to others that she was trying to send her spirits to me to kill me, but all was in vain.  She told them whenever she would send the demons, they would meet me covered, and they could not have access to me. The very period when I received these dreams was when she was actually confessing to people, who were leaking the information to me. She even told an elder of the clan, who then told me. When I heard her threats, I asked God to grant me more power, as I continued to draw closer to God. I developed more confidence in the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, the word of God, and the power of the Holy Ghost, as I was being discipled and taught in church.  They were my weapons to fight the Devil and power of darkness during spiritual warfare.

THE DAY MY PARENTS DISOWNED ME:

In February 1992, on a Sunday evening about 9:00pm, my Dad and grandmother disowned me from the family.  They cast two large stones at me as I was running for my life because of Jesus.  None of the stones hit me.  The one stone Dad cast fell on one side, and the one my grandmother cast fell on a different side. This was a night when my eyes filled with tears, but at that very time, I looked at heaven and requested God, after one week, to restore me to my family.  I knew God still wanted me to be in my village, and through me, my family and clan would come to believe Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour.  I prayed, “God in heaven, through Jesus Christ, whom I accepted as Lord and saviour of my life, by the power of the Holy Ghost, I believe you have not saved me to be thrown out of my family, because if so, the rest of my family and people may not become born again.”  I also told God that day was Sunday, and I requested Him that after seven days, He restore me to my family.  I asked God to do this by touching my Dad, that He use the same person who threw me out to have me back again in the family.

When my family disowned me, I stayed with an elder of my local church.  I spent a whole week in prayer and fasting, preparing to preach that Sunday.  I went to preach at Abundant Life Church, a village church, from Ezekiel 37 about living again. God, by His Holy Spirit, did a lot in people’s lives; I saw God do the miraculous, several healings, and deliverances.  At the end of the preaching, I shared with them how it was a week that day since my family rejected me, yet I had faith in God that that very evening, the Lord would restore me to my family. The church members were sorrowful, but I assured them God would not forsake me or leave me.  The pastor encouraged any who wished to help me to give a love offering.

After preaching, I returned to the elder’s home.  As I had just arrived, a neighbor from home came to tell me my father was calling me to return. Excitement filled my heart.  God had answered my prayers, and had come to my cry and suffering.  Immediately, I followed my neighbor home.  My dad welcomed me and assured me he wanted me to continue staying in the family. I appreciated him and forgave him, and started living in close relationship with my dad, mom, and whole family.  Since then, the Lord has used me to minister love to my family, persevering through several trials with God’s help.|

ANOTHER TRIAL IN 1992:

The last week of April 1992, I returned home from a Sunday service.  The next day I was   supposed to join a high school for my advanced level education.  After lunch, I reminded my dad of some school requirements I needed, and he became so rude and angry.  He told me to contact my fellow born-again Christians, because he would not give me anything as long as I belonged to their sect.

Later on, the spirit of the Lord took me to Psalms 121:3-7:
“He will not let your foot slip—
       he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
       will neither slumber nor sleep.
     The LORD watches over you—
       the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
       nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life”

The Holy Spirit spoke to me from Psalms 27:10,
“Though my father and mother forsake me,
       the LORD will receive me.”

There was such an excitement in my spirit after the Holy Ghost had encouraged me in these scriptures. The quarrel with my father could not hinder me to remind him of his obligations as my father, but I did so in love and humility, as a son. As he continued quarreling, I kept my distance.  He stood at the shade of the house while I stood in the courtyard, or the compound of our home ten meters apart.  As he continued to vomit threats over my life, I kept silent and was praying in my spirit, and all of the sudden, I saw my Dad fall down and start shaking.  Frightened, I quietly sat down behind the house.  I thought my Dad was dying.  About five minutes later, my younger sister came to me, saying my Dad was calling me.  I found him in his bedroom where he had already counted the money for my school requirements.  He requested I always pray for him, any time I knelt to pray.  That day he realized God was with me, and God was against him fighting my salvation.

Ever since my conversion, I have been praying for my relatives to accept Christ as Lord and personal saviour.  God has brought salvation to my family, clan, and village.  I am so grateful to God for what He has done. Above all, God helped me totally forgive my father, family, clan, and everybody.  We are in good relationship, and God has been pouring salvation and healing in them ever since.  God has now made me the most beloved child of my parents, a counselor to the whole family and clan. Whenever my father experiences trials, he calls me to pray for him. God has so much joined our hearts together as a son and parents.  My dad is proud of me, usually telling everybody how he is happy for me because I made a wonderful decision in accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal saviour.  He also comments that I am the best child in the whole family, and he is grateful for me.  Through my life, God has saved my mom, siblings, uncles, aunt’s relatives, and several in my home village and throughout Uganda.

In 1992, the Lord used me to share the gospel of Jesus with my paternal uncle, Lubaale, who owned and controlled the demons of my whole clan.  He was a witchdoctor working under the inspiration of the demons of my grandmother who passed a way in 1999.  Before Lubaale accepted the Lord, he had four large shrines filled with witchcraft and charms.  When he received the gospel, he surrendered all the witchcraft.  We sang songs about the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, and we set the shrines on fire.  I continued experiencing the power in singing about the blood and using the word of God and the name of Jesus Christ while destroying the powers of darkness and demonic powers of this world.  When my dad, a clan leader, heard about my uncle accepting the Lord, and how I burned all the witchcraft controlling the whole clan, he confronted me in anger.  He told me the power of witchcraft and the demonic, evil spirits would kill me for burning the powers.  I told him by God, through the name of Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, I would not die but would live, because Jesus was living and no longer in the grave.  Since then, God has kept me, and I am still serving Jehovah God, the creator of Heaven and Earth.  That same year, the Lord gave me the position as a youth leader in my local church, and then later, an elder, and finally, in 1998, I entered into pastoral ministry.  In 1992, the Lord, by his Holy Spirit, gave me the first confirmation He had called me in fulltime ministry, and through me He would touch many lives around the globe.

HOW GOD CONFIRMED MY CALL IN 1992:

God spoke to Sarah, an intercessor who lived deep in the villages of Iganga District, many miles away from the Begembe, where I was living.  Sarah had never lived or attended any church service in Begembe.  As she was praying one night, God gave her a vision of me, my name, where I was living, and attending church.  She woke up the next morning, boarded a taxi and came to Begembe.  She traced for me, and saw me late in the evening, since I had not been in town the whole day.  Despite my absence, she waited for me. When she saw me, she informed me I was the exact person God showed her in her dream, so she told me what God told her to tell, describing her dream.  She told me God had called me into fulltime ministry as a pastor, He was making me a father, as He had put the spirit of a father in me.  Since then, I have never seen Sarah, and I do not recall her face.

In 1993, I attended an Apostlic and Prophetic conference in Jinja town at Jinja Miracle Centre Church.  As the team from the United States was praying for me, the Lord spoke through them, saying He was calling me into fulltime ministry, and He was putting a spirit of a father in me. He would cause a lot of funds to flow through me, and I would support orphans and widows in several organizations. The other monies would support the various needs of the ministry in the Body of Christ.  God was going to use me as a networker. God started fulfilling the prophecy about caring for the orphaned in 2003.

In October 1994, I joined an agricultural college, but prior to joining, God told me He was taking me to this college for an experience, but He had called me into fulltime ministry.  This national college accommodated students from all over Uganda. In this college, the Lord appointed me as a leader of the Christian Organisation, the Chapel.  By this position of leadership, I was able to spread the gospel to the entire college community, the teachers, and student body.  During this time, I saw many salvations, healings, and deliverances.  Finally, the older students in this college have become points of contact for the gospel in their respective home districts.  Most have become pastors and elders of churches.  Others have started wonderful ministries.  By the grace of God, I was able to leave a landmark in this college as a true Christian student, and in other lower secondary schools I attended.

SECOND CONFIRMATION OF GOD’S CALL UPON MY LIFE:

During the first week of April 1997, I was at work when I felt an unusual silence.  I saw fellow workers talking but could not hear them.  After a few seconds, I heard a voice telling me I was in the wrong place. All of the sudden I felt guilty and repented for neglecting God’s call and disobeying His voice.  Still, I never wanted to leave work, since it was my only source of income, and I never wanted to beg.  I met with my boss, along with a friend, an old brother from college I brought to replace me.  Since we had the same college training, he excelled in my place.  Since April 1977, I decided to serve Jehovah God with all my heart, soul and spirit.  I dedicated my whole life to God to be a fulltime minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Serving without any pay required I live by faith and believe Jehovah God that He who called me was faithful to provide all my daily needs.  At first, I lived in poverty--totally no money, waking up every morning not knowing where food was going to come from.  I was living alone since I felt I was of age to leave my parents.  This provided the opportunity to separate myself and seek the face of God.  I decided to serve my local church and pastor with my whole heart, and the Lord granted me favor before them.

I continued to grow in the things of God as I started ministry.  I served without salary, since the church could not support both my pastor, with his large family, and me.  I continued to be close to my pastor and made use of any ministry opportunity I could find.  Because of my service and trust, God granted me more favour before everyone.  I was just looking to Jesus Christ, who according to Hebrews12:2, “is the author and finisher of our faith.”  I continued to serve the Lord with great joy, love and patience.  I am so grateful to God for His grace that sustained me in all I have gone through as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  I count it joy as through all this I am convinced that with God all things are possible (Luke 1:37).

My pastor was also going through alot of poverty, failing to pay his rent, since the church could not completely support him. He kept moving to cheaper apartments.  He did not always have money to hire a moving truck, so I would help him move, making trips with a bicycle or cart.  Other times I would carry his belongings on my head, and whenever people saw me, they assumed I was earning money.  News got to my father that I was moving people’s property to earn a living.  My dad became angrier, thinking I had left my professional job to do the work of beggars. My dad took this seriously, complaining immediately whenever I would visit him.  To my father, I was crazy.  He had educated me to get a good job.  All of this did not stop me from serving the Lord the way He was leading me.  Inside me, I knew by serving men and women of God and the entire church, God would bless me and use me.  In all this, I wanted to please God and draw closer to Him in an intimate relationship.  As I continued serving the Lord this way, He granted me more favour before Him, my pastor and church, and He continued to raise me up in ministry.

HOW AND WHERE I FOUND MY WIFE, MERCY: THIS WILL BLESS YOUR LIFE

Proverbs 18: 22 the Bible says, “whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord.”  Besides the ministry in my local church, I used to reach out to schools, colleges, and universities.  I used to visit and preach at Jinja Teacher’s Training College in Wanyange, Jinja District, Uganda.  Mercy, who is now my wife, was a student and the chairperson of the Christian Union there.  She was responsible to send invitations to outside pastors to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at her school.  In 1998, as I was visiting this college, the Holy Ghost spoke to me in the form of a peaceful, still voice, saying Mercy would be my wife. I did not inform her; I just prayed.

On the last Sunday of March 1999, my pastor and I officiated the Christian Leader’s Hand ceremony at Jinja Teacher’s College.  It was time for Mercy and her executive to hand over their positions with Christian Leaders Fellowship to new leaders.  My pastor preached, and I prayed for the new leadership and the outgoing members.

After prayer, we sat down at a high table for refreshments and snacks.  Mercy was among the ladies who served us.  As Mercy was leaving, my pastor looked at me and told me the Holy Spirit was showing him Mercy as my future wife.  I had not told my pastor what the Lord had already spoken to me, so when he told me this, I just kept quiet, and became nervous, as the Holy Spirit had revealed and confirmed all He had spoken to me earlier.  Despite the confirmation, I did not tell Mercy.  A month and a half later, Mercy finished her teacher’s course. At the very last moment, I asked her where she was going to teach, but she would not disclose it, and I did not press her.

HOW GOD HELPED ME FIND MERCY:

A lady teacher from our local church transfered to the same school where Mercy was teaching, Joy Center for Education, a Deliverance Church project in Mukono District, Uganda.  One day, I was visiting the lady who left our church, and found Mercy at the woman’s house.  We were both surprised to meet each other there.  It was a sign to show God was doing the work of joining us together.  Mercy was teaching at Deliverance Church, but attending Zion Christian Centre Church.

A few weeks later, I preached at an overnight prayer celebration at the Deliverance Church.  After the Lord used me in speaking there, the church leadership invited me to conduct a one-day All Believers Conference.  While I was preaching in this meeting, God connected me to the leadership of Zion Church where Mercy was attending.  Their pastor invited me to conduct a one-week All Believers Conference. Therefore, on the day I closed the conference, I asked Mercy to visit me with another sister at my church in Jinja. She told she would find time.

Finally on Christmas day of 1999, Mercy and her friend attended the Sunday Service in Jinja and joined me for lunch at my home. After lunch, they had return to their home.  I walked them to the road to get a taxi.  Before they entered the taxi, I whispered to Mercy what the Holy Spirit had spoken to me about her becoming my wife.  She welcomed the idea, but told me to wait for three months because she wanted to continue praying about it.  I also told her I would not mind even if her answer was going to take three years.  Finally, I told her that even if she was not the one, God would still give me wife who feared the Lord.

When she returned home, God confirmed our marriage to her, and instead of three months, she wrote me a letter after three weeks with a big “YES.”  I made arrangements to meet her pastor and the Leadership of her church.  After seeing Mercy and sharing with her, the pastor organized a meeting of church elders.  They invited us to meet them to answer several questions as confirmations that it was God who was bringing us together.  At the ending of the meeting, the pastor and group of elders blessed us, our courtship, and all other arrangements.

I was in fulltime ministry and had no money to arrange the marriage ceremonies, both the introduction and wedding ceremonies.  I had no money, but I had God, and He confirmed to me it was appropriate timing for me to get married.  The Holy Spirit gave me the dates for both ceremonies: October 7, 2000 for the introduction, and December 16, 2000 for the wedding.  Though I did not have a job, inside me I felt the grace of God, that God would help Mercy and me.

In an African introduction ceremony, the woman introduces her future husband to her parents, friends, and relatives.  The future husband brings a minimum of twenty people and many gifts, perhaps including cows or goats.  Some parents may evaluate the cows and goats into cash.  It is such a wonderful day; every one is looking at who is taking who.  The future husband contributes toward the ceremony expenses, especially in providing food for the guests.  His gifts may include sugar, rice, bread, beef, soap, greens, and clothing for parents and other care-taking relatives.

Mercy and I were aware of what was expected, but we had no money.  The Lord led us to plan an estimated budget.  After creating budgets for both ceremonies, we prayed, and God confirmed our marriage was in His timing, and He would provide.  We are so grateful God answered our prayers and granted us His favour before Him and before people.  God used several people to contribute, and God, through His dear son, and by the Holy Spirit, supplied all our needs.  We finished our introduction and wedding without any debt.
Our two marriage ceremonies where filled with the God’s favour, presence, grace, and love.  We are so grateful to God for the care He gave us and for the wonderful things He has done for us, and we thank Him in advance over what He will continue to do.  Over 200 people attended the introduction ceremony, and 1500 people came to our wedding.  People came from as far as the Lord had helped me reach in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Prior to our wedding, I lived in one small room, with a bed, a chair, a small table, plus a few cooking utensils.  The morning of our wedding, we expected to return to my small apartment afterward.  However, God’s love is so great, so wide, so deep, so high, and so big because He provided two couples who were willing to take us for a rest into their houses, living at no expense.  Fred and Lydia Etednal kept us for one week, then Alfred and Ziporah Hasahya picked us up from the Etednals and took us to live in their house for one full month since they were going for a holiday. They bought everything we needed for our stay.

The Lord has been gracious to us in a way we cannot express.  We know His mercy and love endures forever.  We have continued to love Him every morning that He wakes us, only gazing at His beauty and desiring to abide in His courts.  He has always been our provider, hope, victory, healer, success, refuge, strength, and ever-present at all times.

After staying at Alfred and Ziporah’s place, we rented our own larger apartment with two rooms, the bedroom, and the living room.  We paid three months of rent up front.  At the end of the three months, the Lord talked to  Mariam, a Christian lady who told us the Lord had spoken to her to pay 90% of our rent each month for a year.  She was faithful and kept her promise.  She sold water and charcoal for income.  The Lord blessed her greatly for her obedience, and from no where, the Lord touched someone who educated her two children.  We ask more of God’s blessing upon her.

LIFE AFTER MARRIAGE:

To help support our family, Mercy and I consulted an elder who lent us money equivalent to US $300, (about Ughs 500,000) to invest in a maize business.  Unfortunately, the day we purchased the maize, the market prices dipped.  We held on to the maize, hoping prices would rise, but they continued to decrease.  Eventually, we had to sell the maize at a loss before it spoiled.  With no profit, we could not pay the elder back.

When the church elder realized what had happened, he gave us once more chance to find another business. We decided to sell new clothes.  We found a small space in Jinja Central Market and started our business selling men’s and ladies’ wear. The business was going well until April 2002, a fire broke out, destroying several businesses, including ours.  It was a Sunday, and I had traveled from Jinja to Lugazi for pastoral work.  When I returned home, I found my wife discouraged, but eventually the Lord encouraged us, and we gave thanks to God amidst this problem, though it was not easy.  We are grateful to God because He was and He is still our strength in everything.  My wife was running this business, so when it was gone, we had no source of income.

A neighbor agreed to let us plant potatoes, vegetables, and a small portion of maize on a piece of his land for our home consumption.  Before the crops were ready, the neighbor informed us he was going to build a house on that land.  There was nothing we could do; we lost everything.  Mercy and I were hurt, but the Lord broke down our hearts, and we forgave our neighbor. Even at this time, we would not sin against our God.

Since July 2002, the Lord has continued to sustain us; we have always believed Him for all our needs.  We have seen the goodness and mercies of the Lord.  We have continued to treasure, walk, and feel God’s presence in our lives.  We have continued to see God’s favour and grace as we daily trust God to meet our needs and the needs of the ministry. His mighty hand has remained upon us, and we are grateful to Jehovah God, our Heavenly Father, for loving us with an everlasting love.

Mercy and I are now greatly used by God.  We are the senior pastors of Lugazi Miracle Centre (God’s House of Miracles).  We founded God’s House of Miracles Ministries, a fellowship that has currently planted Thirteen village churches.  We are general overseers of these churches, and we are still planting churches in unchurched areas.  I am a vice chairman for the Unity Pastors and Leader’s Fellowship, a fellowship in this area that oversees over fifty Pentecostal churches.  We founded and direct Faith Children’s Home, which houses about fifty children who Jesus says are “no longer orphans” John 14:18.

ENJOY THIS WONDERFUL TESTIMONY OF HOW OUR TWIN BOYS WERE BORN:

Our twins were born as a miracle from God, a fulfillment of a prophesy through a team of missionaries from the US who visited our town in May 2004.  These ministers had a one-day all believers’ conference, two-day women’s conference, and a four evenings of crusade. Reverend Donya from Texas led the team of four ladies and one gentleman.  Mercy’s was approximately two months pregnant.  During the women’s conference, the team laid hands over her and prophesied she was carrying a double portion of anointing inside her womb, and the release of this anointing was a confirmation of an increase God was bringing into our lives and ministry.  One month later, Mercy visited the hospital to begin taking medicine during her pregnancy.  When the doctors X-rayed and scanned, they told her that she was having twins.  It was a big shock to both of us as Mercy remembered what Donya and the team prophesied over her life.  We confirmed that missionaries were true ministers of God, and we believed whatever was spoken.

In early December 2004, one of the team members, Marcel Michael from England, called me and said the twins would be born December 24, 2004.  On the night of December 23, 2004, Mercy developed labor pains. I took her to a private clinic, which eventually reffered her to a main hospital here in Lugazi Town. The labor pains lasted for twenty hours on and off.  Because of this, it was difficult for her to give birth, so they declared her an operation case.  Since the time she conceived, we had asked God for a normal delivery, and we also believed the prophesy through the missionary team.  Most of the nurses harassed Mercy, telling her however much she struggled, she could not give birth normally.  They brought us operation forms, but we refused them.  They brought her theatre clothes, which she refused, and immediately, the Holy Ghost fell on her.  Mercy started praying in tongues, sweating, and finally, at 4pm December 24, Mercy pushed and gave birth to our first twin, who we named Emmanuel, because God is with us.  It took another twenty minutes before our exhausted, second twin was born.  We named him Gift, for truly he was a gift from the Lord.  We are grateful to God that Mercy delivered these two babies without a stitch or scissor. Glory be to God, because with God, all things are possible (Luke 1:37).

FOR WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE( LUKE 1:37).
